LibertyBus, Eyecan & Enable...

LibertyBus gave Eyecan & Enable (formerly Jersey Society for the Disabled) MiDAS training last week, in an attempt to promote safer operation of minibuses with a particular focus on disability.

Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS)

What is MiDAS?

Originally developed by Hampshire County Council, MiDAS is the Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme and is administered nationally by Community Transport Association UK.  It is a membership-based scheme that has been designed to enhance minibus driving standards and promote the safer operation of minibuses with a particular focus on disability.

LibertyBus is an accredited training provider for the Channel Islands.

This month we delivered training to Eyecan, Enable (formerly Jersey Society for the Disabled) and LibertyBus’ own community volunteers.
