Kevin Hart, Director of the Channel Islands & South West
Having lived in Wales most of his life and working on buses since 18, Kevin moved to Jersey to assist with the set up of LibertyBus in 2012. Kevin, although Director, is known to pitch in with everything from supporting the customer service team on the front desk to getting behind the wheel of a bus!
Nikki Withe, HR/Training & Community Manager
Nikki spends most of her time on staffing matters including developing training on safer driving, disability awareness and customer service skills. This is also extended to external organisations such as Jersey Taxi Drivers, Ports of Jersey, Acorn, HMP La Moye and travel training for Highlands College to create an accessible service for all.
Nigel Taylor, Engineering Manager, Channel Islands
Usually found in the workshop at La Collette managing a team of three night time staff, five mechanics, one apprentice and an Assistant Engineering Manager! Nigel is responsible for making sure that buses are fit and healthy for the road.
Nick Arthur, Accounts Manager
Although he lives on a farm, Nick will usually be found behind a very big computer, with lots of paperwork! Holding financial responsibility for the Channel Islands, Nick has been with LibertyBus since the company first started in Jersey.
Luis Marques, Service Delivery Manager
Luis creates bus drivers schedules or ‘duties’, creates the bus timetable, monitors systems, teaches new bus drivers, maps routes on GPS tracking systems and much more. Luis has been working for LibertyBus since the beginning, and before that was also in the bus industry.
Phil Searle, Assistant Operations Manager
Phil has worked on the buses in Jersey for over 30 years, and his main tasks include ensuring buses depart on time, liaising with bus controllers, supervising drivers and overseeing all things operationally at Liberation Station.
Russell Bryne, Assistant Engineering Manager
Working closely with Nigel, Russel will always be found in the workshop at La Collette, making sure that there is enough buses for service, correct spares for the range of vehicles across the fleet and overseeing the Engineering team.
Harry Hambrook, Trainee Operations Manager
Harry joined LibertyBus in 2016 after graduating from University, and is training on a two-year program to become LibertyBus’s Operations Manager. He has since been learning all roles within the Jersey team and visiting our sister depots shadowing all roles from Operations to Customer Service!
